Meet Our Staff
BEATRICE HAUER
Beatrice Hauer joined the staff of Blizzard, McCarthy & Nabers in 1986. When Steve McCarthy joined the firm in 1988, Beatrice became his first and only Legal Secretary. Their professional chemistry has made the past 21 years a rewarding working relationship. "I feel so blessed to be part of the great team we have here at Blizzard, McCarthy & Nabers. The past 23 years with this firm have made my career a very fulfilling and growing experience for me," states Beatrice.
Beatrice works directly with Steve McCarthy in preparing and filing legal documents for clients with cases which include severe auto accidents, catastrophic injuries, cases, and cases of nursing home abuse.

CONNIE HALE
Connie Hale has been working in the legal field since 1972 and has many years of experience specializing in mass tort litigation. She started her mass tort experience in Pascagoula, Mississippi working with clients injured by asbestos. She also spent fifteen years working for a law firm in Pensacola, Florida as the Mass Tort Manager on numerous dockets including cases involving asbestos exposure and defective breast implants. In June 2001, she moved to Houston to work on Fen Phen cases.
In 2005, she joined Blizzard, McCarthy & Nabers as the Case Manager of the Intake Department, which is where all cases handled by the firm are initially managed. Connie's extensive experience in mass tort litigation makes her a valuable member of the Blizzard, McCarthy & Nabers team.
Connie has an Associates Degree and received a Certified Legal Assistant Degree in 1995. She is married to Ray and together they have five children.

CHRISTINA NANCARROW

Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Christina Nancarrow moved to Houston, Texas in 2001, and her extended family quickly followed. She is married to Stephen and enjoys volunteering for various charities throughout the community.
Christina joined Blizzard, McCarthy & Nabers in 2003. She has over 20 years tort litigation experience which includes a considerable amount of trial experience. Christina received her Associates Degree in 1989, graduating with honors and has enjoyed her career as a legal assistant since then. Christina takes pride in working with the attorneys at Blizzard, McCarthy & Nabers because of their excellence, dedication and integrity as professionals and she enjoys assisting the firm in seeking and obtaining justice for their clients.
Christina is legal assistant to Scott Nabers and Rebecca King, and is currently working on Ephedra, Paxil, Fentanyl Patch and other lawsuits. She has been a member of NALA since 2002.

GLENDA GRAINGER
Glenda Grainger is a Registered Nurse who consults with our firm on medical, pharmaceutical and device cases. Glenda graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing. She worked at Seton Hospital in Austin and then St. Luke's Hospital in the Texas Medical Center where she specialized in Cardiovascular and Intensive Care nursing. Glenda began Medical Legal Consulting in 1988 as an adjunct to her nursing practice when she was asked to review the medical records of injured patients to determine quality of care and advice and educate the legal counsel of those patients on medical issues.
Since 1998 she has specialized in mass tort litigations including Fen Phen, Rezulin, Sulzer, Vioxx, Ephedra, and Paxil. Most recently she was the sole nurse responsible for the medical issues of a 6500 patient Fen Phen docket which was recently resolved by Blizzard, McCarthy & Nabers in conjunction with another firm.
Glenda, originally from Austin, Texas was raised in Houston where she resides today with husband Robby and their three wonderful children, Ginny, Rob and Parker, who are the delight of their lives.

JOANNA RONDEAU
Joanna Rondeau joined the staff in 1986 as Administrator/Legal Assistant, a position she held with the firm for almost 20 years, until deciding to play more golf and work fewer days each week. Currently, Joanna works with us part-time, handles the financial details for the firm, and audits the fundings for each client.
Joanna was a charter member of the State Bar of Texas - Legal Assistants Division, serving on the Board of Directors for two consecutive terms and as Treasurer for the organization for two years. She held NALA certification with specialty practice in Personal Injury and in Contracts, until 1997, and has been a guest lecturer on ethics and practice at numerous legal assistant meetings across the state of Texas.

ZOE ALMOND
Zoe Almond has been the receptionist for Blizzard, McCarthy & Nabers since 1997. "I am proud to be associated with such a reputable firm, and I appreciate the fact that we have a great team that has been together for quite some time. I enjoy answering the phones and interacting with the clients, with whom we often establish long lasting relationships."
