Michael Clinton

As an associate attorney at Blizzard & Nabers, Michael Clinton pursues personal injury claims, pharmaceutical cases, and medical device litigation, with his current docket including cases involving IVC Filters, Talcum Powder, Transvaginal Mesh, Reglan, Mirena and the Multiple Sclerosis drug Tysabri.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Consulting from Southern Methodist University in 2010. He then attended Baylor Law School on a Dean’s Scholarship. While studying at Baylor, he participated in the NYU Immigration Law Moot Court Competition, the ABA Labor Law Mock Trial Competition, and the UMKC Voir Dire Competition. On graduating with his Juris Doctorate, he was named to the Order of Barristers, a legal honor society recognizing the top performers in each graduating class.

Before joining Blizzard & Nabers in 2014, Michael worked as the Practice Court Associate at Baylor Law School and coached two of the mock trial teams on which he had previously competed. In addition to being licensed to practice in Texas, he has also appeared pro hac vice before the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Utah, New Jersey, the Southern District of West Virginia, and the Southern District of New York, as well as state courts for the state New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

In his free time, Michael volunteers weekly as a tutor at The Forge For Families, an afterschool program in Houston’s Third Ward. As a member of the Board of Trustees for Houston Young Lawyers Foundation, Michael also currently serves as the Chair or Co-Chair of multiple committees, most of which are geared toward working with children in underprivileged areas: Read To Succeed at Burnet Elementary School; Big For A Day with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Houston; and HYLF’s Adopt An Angel Program. Michael recently became engaged to his fiancé, Kirby, and he has a dog named Atty (short for attorney).
